Testimonials
After a few frustrating years of struggling with our middle-school-aged son’s English assignments, we were referred to Mike for help every week, we saw improvement not only in his reading comprehension but also in his willingness to read independently and without our guidance. His confidence led not just to better grades, but to a happier, more confident kid and much less homework stress.

Mike tutored both of my children (7 and 8 years old) after school for over a year to help them boost their reading skills. He was always prompt, prepared, in good spirits, and ready to be extremely patient with my children after a long day. He used his training and experience in the Orton-Gillingham Approach to increase their reading level. He incorporated games, breathing exercises, etc. to keep them engaged in the material. I highly recommend Mike for your tutoring needs. He's awesome!

Mike has worked with our daughter, twice per week, from 4th-6th grade. Her learning profile includes dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADD. Mike has provided invaluable support in math, spelling and writing. Their work together enables our daughter to keep up with the pace of learning in class and also allows for continued focus on, and review of, critical foundation skills. Mike also keeps in touch with teachers and the school learning specialist regarding ongoing needs. He has also joined us for parent/teacher/learning support meetings. We continue to be extremely grateful for his kindness, knowledge, patience and expertise and would highly recommend him to other families.
